Hey, I like my breakfast as much as anybody, maybe more.. Not that it really matters, this place is awesome!! I've been there for breakfast, and lunch and I have to say, I was impressed both times. Crêpes: First of all, if you don't know what a crêpe is...WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!?? For those of you who do know what they are and love them...then this is the place for you! They have sweet crêpes and savory crêpes it doesn't matter which one you get, because they're so good!! In fact, I'd go as far as saying that this is the only place in Southern Utah where you can get crêpes that will exceed your expectations. In general though, the service wasn't quick and the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. It's a great place to start the day with a perfect meal. The entire seating area is located outdoors, which is awesome because there's nothing like fresh air to compliment your meal. If you get there and there's room, the best seating is right in the front smack dab in the middle of the flower garden. The smell of the plants and water from the fountain is pretty fantastic. The food is cooked to order and always comes out hot and just begging to be eaten! The owners and staff are friendly and are always ready to greet you with an easy smile. If you make it out there, tell them that Rex Jones told you to go there...I doubt they'd remember me, but it'd make for a great story if they did and you told them that!! Haha!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday morning and everything was excellent! The food, the service, loved it all! We would've sat outside (which probably would've made things even more delightful) but it was a cold, overcast day. We had the special of the day, which was a pastry of some kind and absolutely incredible! The French onion was excellent, and their crepes were quite tasty as well. Go here for brunch. You won't regret it! And make sure you get a pastry or crepe of some kind!

We read the reviews on Yelp and headed to the Granary for lunch. It had an average of 5 stars, so we thought that we couldn't go wrong. There were 4 of us and 2 ordered French onion soup and the 2 shared French toast and a vegetarian tarte. The French toast and the tarte were wonderful. The soups came to table cold. The waitress said that she had been having trouble getting the chefs to heat it properly. She had it heated and brought it back. When they finally tasted it, it was so salty that neither one of them ate it. It had a few sprinkles of cheese on top, not the way French onion soup is normally prepared. When I tried to use the restroom, I found it so disgusting that I returned to the table. I finally told the waitress and she went in to clean it. She said that she did the best she could, because she had other things to do. I can't imagine how this restaurant received 5 stars! The sign said that it is a Historic Site and a Mormon Tithing Granary.

A cute little leafy place on the main street in what seems to be a nicer version of St. George. They prepared us two iced coffees for our long trip back to California and we were very grateful.

Awesome spot for brunch. Their presentation is spot on and the food is delicious. I would say this is like a less known, cheaper version of Painted Pony, and by that I mean the food is delicious and well presented, and there is nothing bad on the menu. I had the baked french toast, which I expected to be soggy but it was perfect. The french onion soup and Reuben I had bites of and they were so good! The Napoleon was also worth trying. Their fruit is pretty fresh. I liked it a lot overall and will come back. The Granary building itself is a historic pioneer building and the outdoor seating is perfect in nice weather. They also host events like weddings and such because of the beautiful location.

One of my favorite places to get away and hide from everyday life. I feel as if I am in a whole different world when I am at The Granary in Santa Clara. It's like time has paused and I'm sitting on a beautiful patio watching the trees sway in the gentle breeze. The Crepes and French Toast are amazing. Lunch in great also. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is unbeatable!

I've been here twice in the past week. The food is surprisingly great. The second time I went, I was with a large group and they we actually got seated in the historic granary. Between all of us in the group, we tried just about everything on the menu and it was all amazing. The French Onion Soup, chai latte, and pastry of the day were my favorites. I would recommend this place for Brunch especially.

The owners Patricia and Wayne are charming people. I was biking from my resort checking around the local scene and I came upon this European inspired coffee shop. Amazing local coffee in french press form. I will try and and make it back before I leave for my fabulous coffee and conversation!

Service was super sweet (although the waitress seemed a bit put upon, the first person to tell us to take a seat was a customer) , everything was made fresh to order. The quiche and French toast were the best I have ever had.

I stopped by for a cup of coffee and the crepes looked so good I had to have one. This quaint restaurant is one you need to hit before you go hiking up Snow Canyon State Park. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. The filling in the crepes was great! Put this place on your list of must do!

Found this quaint little place looking for another restaurant that we found to be closed. The Granary serves French brunch type food and while the menu is small, you can tell the chef pays close attention to details. My husband and I both had the French Onion soup and Provençal Turkey sandwich. The soup was very flavorful, served hot with the traditional bread and cheese croutons on top. This was a hearty soup, not watery like French Onion can sometimes be. The turkey sandwich had a homemade aioli that you could tell was homemade and it was served on the flakiest croissant I have ever had! The chef and sous chef came out to greet us and make sure everything was to our liking. That's always a nice touch! I could tell they take a lot of pride in what they were doing. They told us that the food is locally sourced (eggs from the farm up the street) where they can. The location was a nice surprise. The restaurant is right on the Main Street in Santa Clara in an historic granary. The decor has played up to the historic feel of this street and combined the French influences with Southern Utah desert. We ate outside and it couldn't have been better! Definitely worth a stop in!

Cute little place to go for breakfast. Definitely out of the ordinary for St. George, a quaint, unique little restaurant that actually has good food. The portions are smaller which is refreshing. Had a fruit crepe, the baked french toast, and the French onion soup. The fruit crepe was wonderful. The baked french toast was good and presented well. The French onion soup was warm and needed to be a little hotter. Ordered a latte and this was the worst part of the meal. Need to step up the latte game. But at the end of the day I would go back. If you want a nice little spot for breakfast in St. George this place should be on the list.

Just had lunch at The Granary in Santa Clara and could not recommend it more highly. We had the French Onion Soup which was to die for, and the Reuben, which my husband declared was the best he ever had in his life (and he is a Reuben lover). The difference is that the chef, who hails from Springdale, makes the key ingredients in house - and that really sets it apart. The table next to us had the fruit crepes and they looked yummy too . The surroundings are charming. We sat on the front patio and listened to delightful French music against the backdrop of the old stone granary. That set the tone for the meal to come - it felt like we were dining al fresco in the French countryside. Can't wait to try it for breakfast this weekend. They are even open Sunday!

We stopped for lunch because we enjoyed the location and dining experience when Tiffany's was located here. Lunch was ok but the menu options are very limited and there isn't anything distinguishing about dining here. There isn't anything that would take me back.

This is a charming little French-influenced café off the beaten path on the main street of Santa Clara. The first time I came alone and ordered the quiche, which was salty, and when the chef came out to ask how it was, I told him. He took it of the menu until another could be baked and did not charge me. I took my husband back and ordered the scrambled eggs, which were quite good, and which were served with a fresh fruit bowl. My enjoyed his croissant though he said the pain perdu was a bit difficult to eat. Everything was beautifully presented and the surrounds and music add to the experience. They serve organic teas, and China cups. I sat on the front patio both times but there is more outdoor seating out back a or you can fine in the old tithing granary. The staff and owners are quite friendly and eager to please. Go try it out.

Beautiful, wonderful servers, undoubtedly the best creeps I have ever had. Big thumbs up. If your in St. George you must go. The chef has created a great menu. Every one in our party, loved what they ordered.
